DAY WORKSHOPS

Langdale 6br>12x16"£270 20  and 21 January 2018: LAKELAND LANDSCAPES IN ACRYLIC

I’m very lucky to live in this beautiful area. For this workshop we will be working from photographs of yours (or mine) favourite views in the lakes

Saturday is fully booked so an extra workshop will be happening on the 21st

Us two chickensAcrylic and pastel 17 February: BIRDS IN MIX MEDIA

In this workshop we will be drawing and painting animals from photographs. We will be using acrylic paint and black-white pastels (or colours if you prefer). All levels welcome, but some drawing experience will be helpful.

I have lots of photographs or bring a photograph of you own animals, Just make sure it is  close up and printed on photographic paper. (If you rather do a different animal, that is not a problem)

 the-parish-church Sat  17 March: LAKELAND VILLAGE/TOWN SCAPES 

In this workshop you will be painting Villages and towns/ buildings in the lakes in acrylic and pastel mix media. You can bring your own photo’s or use mine. You will be learning some about mixing different tones and colours, using different brush strokes. Understanding the influence of colours on each other how to create depth in you painting.

A bit of understanding of perspective would be handy, but don’t worry if you struggle, help will be at hand.

In this workshop you will be flowers and blossoms acrylic and pastel mix media. We can work from photo’s or from life.  You will be learning some about mixing different tones and colours, using different brush strokes.

In this workshop we will be drawing and painting animals from photographs. We will be using acrylic paint and black-white pastels (or colours if you prefer). All levels welcome, but some drawing experience will be helpful.

Use my photographs or  bring your own, Just make sure it is  close up and printed on photographic paper.(If you rather do a different animal, that is not a problem)

 seascape2  Sat 21 July: SEASCAPES IN ACRYLIC

In this workshop we will be painting in acrylics from photographs. Bring your holiday snaps or use mine.

You will be learning how to paint waves, You will be learning about mixing different tones and colours, using different brush strokes and about the influence colours have on each other, how to create depth to your painting.

Knowing youAcrylic and pastel Sat 18 August: ANIMALS IN MIX MEDIA 

In this workshop we will be drawing and painting animals from photographs. We will be using acrylic paint and black-white pastels (or colours if you prefer). All levels welcome, but some drawing experience will be helpful.

It doesn’t have to be a cow, bring a photograph of you own animal, Just make sure it is  close up and printed on photographic paper.

In this workshop you will be painting trees(autumn colours) in acrylic. You will be learning different techniques, how to create depth, how to do glazes.

We will be:

Mixing colours, using different brush strokes for different textures, Mix different tones of colours, use of glazes,

We maybe adding some details afterwards with pastel as well, I usually just use black and white(hard pastels), but no reason to use more colour)
